Err..Happy New Year?
Happy 2006! Hope fully it will be better than 2005.
Not that I should complain. I have everything that I have ever wanted really. 2005 brought me my son and a new house. I guess I am looking forward to a new year and a new start, ya know?
I can't complain too much about my kids. They sleep great. Both are in bed by 8pm and won't get up usually until 7:30am or so. I know lots of Mom of Two Under Two that would come to my house and shoot me for complaining. I have truly been blessed in that department. I just wish that my husband's family would recognize that we (and I) need a break every once in a while. I just keep telling myself that I will have a life again someday. I know I will.
Zoe is super-clingy right now. It's nice at times, but when I need to hold Josh or go to the bathroom, etc it is kinda of a pain in the butt. But I can never get enough of my babies kisses and hugs. No matter how bad my day, she always makes me feel better. I really need to go through all her toys and get rid of a bunch of them. Her birthday is next week (UGH!) and I have no room for any more toys!
Josh has graduated to the tub sans bath seat. I wanted to cry! My little baby boy is growing up. I worry so much about him. I will find out tomorrow when he will have his eye surgery. (He was born with strabismus or crossed eyes). His vision is good which is great, but he needs surgery to prevent it from getting bad. I am so ready to get it over with. I just hope and pray that one surgery will be all that it takes. Say a little prayer for me ok? He is just now sitting up by himself for a few minutes at a time. He is such a lazy butt. Some of my friends fuel my insecurities about him with statements such as "Isn't the pediatrician concerned that he isn't crawling yet?" etc. I am pretty sure that everything is normal. He just doesn't get as much floor time as I would like because I have to protect him from his big sister LOL! She thinks he is a cushion. She loves to sit on him...little booger.
Ok, I'll post the results of the Dr. appointment as soon as I can.
Later,
~C
