About Me

Name: Elleoz

From: Fort Mill, South Carolina, United States

I am 32 years old and have been married for 6 years. I had two children under 2 (hence the blog name), but now they are actually 3 and 2. Maybe it is time to change the blog name? Drama Queen is 3 and Wildman is 2 (15 months apart to be exact). I have a Bachelor's Degree on Criminal Justice from Applachian State University (Go Apps!) and have been at my current place of employment for going on 7 years.

    It's Snowing!

Look! Our first snowfall in two years! It is WildMan's first snow.

I swear these ashats don't have a clue how to drive in anything remotely resembling the fluffy white stuff. Last night (it was clear and cold) the schools here had already posted a 2 hr delay. By 6 am there was about 1/2 inch of snow and everything was closed. I made my way to the daycare and was going to go to work when AM called. He said it was bad in RH and that I should call the boss to see if I needed to come in. This was a 7:45 am. He said to stay home so I went back and got the kids. I only live maybe 5 miles from the daycare. It took me 30 minutes to get home. I live right after a bridge and at the bottom of a hill. Those of you who know how to drive in snow know that you have to get up som speed to get up hills. I also failed to mention that I live on a big hill myself.

This being said. About 100 feet from my house, some freakin idiot in a SUV passes 6 cars in the left hand lane on a snow covered bridge at the foot of a big hill. Same hill where the lead vehicle is going sideways up the hill just to make it to the top. So then all traffic stops. ON.THE.HILL. I had to try to manuever up my own steep hill with no speed. I got stuck 3/4 of the way with a front wheel drive van. However, I did make it up the hill. Thank goodness for traction control. I probably burned it up, but after snaking up the driveway I made it. I'll have to see how bad I tore it up tomorrow after it thaws.

To the woman in the SUV...FOAD. You almost caused multiple people to wreck because heaven forbid you should have to wait you turn and actually obey traffic laws. IDIOT!
