A Camping We Will Go
Most of you know that the family has a new obsession....camping. I used to not be an outdoorsy kind of girl unless it involved a furry creature of the four-legged variety that you put a saddle on, but now-adays there is nothing I would like better than to spend the day laying in a hammock watching the kids play and listening to the wind in the trees.
Last weekend we went to Andrew Jackson State Park again and had a great time. One couldn't have asked for better weather. During the day it was in the upper 70's/lower 80's and at night I think it averaged around 55 or so. A little chilly but that's what we have a heater in the camper for.
Friday we ate pizza since I had to pick the kiddos up from day care. Saturday morning we ate eggs, biscuits (pre-made at home) and sausage on the grill. For dinner we had cheddar brats, hotdogs, beans, chips, and potatoes & peppers cooked over the campfire. For dessert...SMORES. Wildman didn't care for them much, but that left more for me. And once DQ discovered that there was CHOCOLATE in them she was hooked.
Both of the kids were so good and they absolutely love being outside. I can't wait to go again. As soon as I get paid I am making reservations and we are going to Kings Mountain State Park. I think we would go every weekend if we could.
Here's a few pics of our grand adventure:

Cake Class #1 Finale
This is the finale cake for my first cake decorating class. I have to say that I was quite proud of myself and it tasted great too! I took it to work (since we had birthday cake as well) and it was gone by the end of the day.
I even may have gotten a gig making a wedding cake for a lady that I work with son's wedding in June.
What ya think?

Happy Birthday Baby!
My darling son Wildman just turned the big 2 last week
(He was born on 4/14 at 1414~ cool huh?!).
I can hardly believe that two years have gone by already. It literally seems like just yesterday that I was still pregnant with you. Even though you are completely different, and quite a challenge at times I love you with all my heart and soul.
When AM and I found out that I was pregnant with you it certainly was a surprise. I had just decided that it was a good idea to wait until DQ was a little older (at least 2) before we had our second child. But God had other plans for us and you are truly a gift sent straight from the heavens.
You laugh is the most wonderful sound in the world and is so contagious that anyone in the same room as you can't help but belly laugh right along with you. You love your trucks and tractors the most, but are also down for a good cuddle with puppy when you are tired of sick. And that dimple on your left cheek, I could just eat it right off.
Thank you for being such a wonderful little boy and showing me that I do have more than enough love in my heart for both of my children. I can't wait to see what the year holds in store for both of us.
I love you Bubbee!
Love,
Momma
P.S.~ Though everyone would like to see a picture of my guy's 2nd birthday cake. My mother-in-law made it for him. Isn't it cute! I can't wait to try my hand at making a cake for them.

Interview From Blond Chick
1. If you could have any job in the world, what would it be and WHY?
I think I would be a famous singer. I am way too shy to ever really do it, but the thought of getting paid ALOT of money to sing for an hour or so and entertain people would be awesome.
2. What Bible verse means the most to you and WHY?
2. What Bible verse means the most to you and WHY?
I wish I could say I have one, but I don't . While I consider myself a Christian, I haven't been a very devout one. Other than John 3:16, I can't really recite any from memory. That is definately something that I have to do something about though.
3. Describe yourself in five words or less.
3. Describe yourself in five words or less.
Moody, Caring, Funny, and Sarcastic.
4. Your home is on fire. The firefighters have rescued your family and pets and they are safely outside. They are going to go back in and they are letting you choose ONE ITEM in your home to save from the blaze. What item will you choose?

I would have to say that the first thing that comes to mind is my photographs. All our other belongings could be replaced, but all my old photos would be lost forever and I know that someday I won't be able to rely on my memory to remember all the special times in my life.
5. What do you consider the lowest part of your life so far?
5. What do you consider the lowest part of your life so far?
This is a tough one. I have had a lot of things happen in my lifetime, but to pick the worst one? I guess the lowest part in my life so far was when I was 22 or so. I was in an obsessive and abusive relationship and I let it ruin a lot of things in my life at the time. I quit school for while, did some things that I am not proud of, and became incredibly depressed and considered running away from everyone and everything. But one day I snapped out of it and never looked back. I figured out that no single person should be allowed to have that much power over me.
OK, now it is you turn. Here are the rules if you want to keep it going:
1. *Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me." *
2. *I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions. *
3. *You will update your weblog with the answers to the questions. *
4. *You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post. *
5. *When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them
five questions.*
So go ahead! Don't be skeered. I promise I won't ask anything too embarrasing

What's Wrong With This Picture?
Sorry I have been MIA again lately. There have been plenty of topics to write about but no time to sit and complete a coherent thought. Take your pick...stomach virus? Puke? Birthday party? Cake decorating classes? More puke? Anyone takers? I thought so.
But that I will save for another day. My dilemma today is this and I apologize if it is TMI for some of you but this is afterall my blog so sorry if I offend...
I could care less about sex.
It's horrible and it is causing major problems with my marriage. It has nothing to do with my love or attraction to my husband. I love him with all my heart and I still think he is a sexy as he was the day I met him. I just have absolutely no interest. I'm not really even sure why. The only think I can think of is I am so tired and preoccupied with everything that I have to do on a daily basis that I can't let myself relax enough to get in the right mindset. And I have never been one of those kinds of do it anywhere-anytime kind of girls.
I thought that once a woman hit her 30's that her libido was supposed to increase? Mine has done the complete opposite. Since I have had the kids, it just doesn't interest me anymore. I wish I could say it is my medication, but the prescription ran out and I haven't been back to the Dr. to get more. So I really have no clue as to what is going on other than my husband is VERY unhappy with me right now and rightfully so.
I know that it is something that I have to get over if I want our marriage to work. And I want it to work- more than I want anything in the world. I just don't know where to start. AM spent the night on the couch last night after another one of my rejections.
*(Honey~ if you are reading this I am truly sorry and I feel like total dog shit. You aren't asking too much for me to show you a little love and affection. I'm not going to go on and on with a bunch of promises because you say you have heard them all before. All I will say is that actions WILL speak louder than words for a change. I LOVE YOU!)*
At this point I am just at a loss for where to start, but I know that start I must. I guess I should call and make an appointment with Dr. O soon. I need a yearly physical anyway. I just want to be able to make AM happy and I know that this isn't too much to ask of me. I am his wife and the last thing I want is for him to search out someone who will give him what I won't.

A Little Too Late
Boy I sure wish I had this at 4:30 am. And 5 am. And several other times throughout the day. Over at 5 Minutes For Mom they are giving away little sip up bowls for those accidents.
Drama Queen AND Wildman both took to throwing up all over the place at 4:30 am. At least they took turns. I am not kidding, no sooner did I get one cleaned up and bed changed, then the other one was going at it. Poor things. This went on for several hours. At one point, WM was asleep on my chest and DQ was sitting beside me as close as she could get sound asleep. I don't know about your kids, but I KNOW that mine are sick when they will sleep sitting up!
I don't think they have the flu though since they both got sick at the exact same time. I am leaning more towards the manderine oranges from Wendy's that they both ate last night. Both had the oranges with dinner. Can you get food poisoning from manerine oranges?
AM went to the store, and the pharmacist gave him some magic drug for nauesa. I don't know what it was called, but they both were acting so much better by lunch time that I actually got to come to work. Lucky me!!
I called AM a little while to check on the kiddo's and he said that WM fell asleep on the couch. Poor little guy. I sure hope that it is nothing and he recovers super fast. Tomorrow is his 2nd birthday and I have already invited about 25 people to his party. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that it's just a 24 hour thing. He was sick on his birthday last year too
Oh, and please forgive the spelling mistakes. I forgot my glasses and I am running on about 3 hours of sleep.

Interview
I was sent an interview by this awesome blogger. (CPAMomVA, you know you rock!) She had a little contest of sorts going where fellow bloggers were tagged to do a meme asking her questions and she did the same. I graciously asked her to ask away and this is what she wanted to know.
1) If you were given $1,000 to spend totally on yourself in 30 minutes or less, how would you spend it?
I would love to say that I would be responsible and pay off a credit card. But to be honest, I would buy myself an iPod Nano, some clothes, and something for the kiddos.
2) What if you had to give the $1,000 to other people/organizations?
This is an easy one for me. I would give to the the Children's Attention Home here. It is a facility for children (newborns to late teens) when they are removed from their homes by DSS. They totally take care of every need, and it is a nice facility. The hubby and I are going to start volunteering there soon, and we donate toys and services as often as we can.
3) Paris, France or Sydney, Australia - preference for a vacation
This is an easy one for me. I have always wanted to go to Australia. I vow that I will get to go someday.
4) About you - your nickname? Eye Color? Hair Color? Tatoos? Piercings?
Hey! That is 5 questions in one!
I don't have a true nickname per se, but AM calls me ScaryCarrie. I was called Roachelle (for my middle name) in high school. And there is always the ever popular CareBear. Can you guess my real name?
Eye Color: Hazel Brown
Hair Color: Auburn. Right now I also have caramel highlights in the front.
Tattoos: A yellow smileyface on my left shoulder, a celtic cross on my right shoulder, and a gothic butterfly on my left leg. I am getting one more for my son soon.
Piercings: Just my ears now. I had my tongue pierced while I was in college, but AM hated it and bought me a pair of diamond earrings in exchange for the tongue ring.
5) What was the last book you read? Your favorite book ever?
I just finished "The Road" by Cormic McCarthy. Excellent read, although dark and really different from anything I have ever read before. I'd have to say my favorite book ever is "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb. Outstanding read.
I am currently looking for a new book. Any suggestions?
6) What was the last movie you saw? Most favorite movie ever?
This is sad, but I can't remember the last movie I saw. At the theater it was Barnyard with my daughter. At home it was Cars. See a trend. I totally need to get out more. without the kids.
7) Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie?
Both are beautiful and I big puffy heart Friends, but I would say Angelina Jolie. There is something about her that I think is intriguing. A that little bit of bad girl. But I have to say if she doesn't stop adopting kids, I think I may move on. Enough already.
8) Worst memory from childhood? Best?
This is a tough one. It is hard to pick just one. I think the worst memory was coming home from school when I was 5 to an empty house. I don't think I have ever been so scared in my life, and I have seperation anxiety issues now in crowded places as a result.
The best childhood memory was probably winning Reserve Champion in Showmanship at the Hardin County Fair with my horse Azzie. I had worked so hard, and in that area it is a big deal. You get your picture in the paper, a huge plaque, trophy, and ribbon. I still have it to this day.
OK, Now it is your turn. I am not going to tag anyone in particular for a meme, but feel free to participate. And if you want to interview me send me those questions and I will post them here.
