Snow Days!
I know it has been a LONG time. No excuses really~ just busy as usual.
One thing that does bother me is that they are never prepared for it. I know that since it isn't an everyday thing that there isn't a need for all the expensive snow plows and salt trucks but come on guys! What does putting sand down on the roads accomplish. Dirty snow! You are better off just leaving it alone! It'll be gone before you get done. And don't even get me started on the grocery stores. They were broadcasting the "Severe Weather Event" like it was going to be a full blown blizzard. The ticker at the bottom of the screen even said to stay indoors and not go outside. Geesh! People flocked to the stores and cleaned out the bread and milk. We aren't buried under feet of snow people! I have been there and done that as a kid. This is nothing.
Anyway~ here are a few pics of the kiddos enjoying the white stuff. I am still alive. Just not much to say.
We had an unusual occurance around these parts early Tuesday morning. You guessed it! Snow! To the tune of about 2-4 inches! It is gone now, but it was pretty while it lasted. In all honesty, I think we have it the best in the long run. When it does snow, it is only around long enough for it to be fun and then it is gone. We don't have to deal with being stuck in the hosue for days on end. Most of the time it only sticks around for a day or two and it only snows once or twice a year. That's enough snow for me!

Hey, you took all our snow!!! Tehehehehehe. At least everyone there went snow crazy for a reason...we never even got the snow and had a run on stores.
Funny thing was it was my normal shopping night (The night before the snow was supposed to hit) so I had a cart FULL of food - bet people thought I was going crazy because of the snow too!
The kiddos are so cute!!!
