Trick or Treat
Gimme something something to eat! At least this is what the kids think they are supposed to say.
This year was Wild Man's first Trick or Treating experience since he was sick with a stomach bug last year. I think he liked it, since he would basically scream TRICK OR TREEEEEET! to each house we went to. He was a little confused about the whole going to the door, letting them give you candy and then leaving. Multiple times he tried to enter people's houses. Either that or he was telling them in his bossy voice that I do it!!! But he seemed to enjoy it. I hope that next year he will let me put him in a real costume though. I so wanted him to be Yoda from Star Wars but he refused to wear the cape so I gave up. He was a train conductor (or a famer) instead.
Drama Queen was all about Trick or Treat this year. Last year she got to go by herself and she hit pay dirt. But this year, she tuckered out on my about 2 blocks in and wanted to be carried. But she sure did look cute.
Max also partivipated in the festivities. Of course, he was too cute to walk so had to be carried the entire time! I sure can't wait until he learns that he has 4 legs for a reason. Unfortunately, I didn't think to get a picture of him in his costume when we started out. He was dressed in a Football Jersey and wore a Chicken hat. Priceless! But I did happen to get his true feelings on the Chicken Hat...
I have only one complaint for the evening. Mommies...please supervise your children when they go up to a house. Even better, please teach your children manners and how to wait their turns. I know that your little goblins are so excited to get that piece of candy, but when you trap a young boy on his first time out on the stairs for 5 minues while everyone else mobs the door and almost knock him down the stairs both coming and going it is a little much. Momma Bear tends to come out and she isn't very happy when her young cub is almost trampled. It isn't Momma Bear's job to orchestrate an exit plan. Thank you..thank you very much!
Happy Halloween everyone!!

Cute, cute. Little Boy was hyperactive-over-stimulated-and-irritable 5 year-old boy. He was great at it!
