And We're Off!
I will be here for the next week.
Most of you probably know that I have been child-free for the last week. The in-laws took the kids back to NY with them for a week of camping. As much as I missed them, I have to say that it has been heavenly having the time to ourselves. We have gotten to eat out several times and went to the movies on a Sunday afternoon.
We leave at 3 am tomorrow morning to drive the 10+ hour drive to go camping. There is a lot to do in the few lasting hours before we leave. I still have to stop at the bank to get quarters for the toll booths and the laundry, fill up the gas tank, hook up the camper, load the camper and the van, move the fish to AM's uncle's house, pick up something at the IL's house that they forgot, load the coolers, watch BB 8, and get a little bit of sleep. I hope that I don't forget anything important.
This is the part that I hate about camping. We have sooo much crap! I am sure we could do without half the stuff that we have crammed in the little thing, but I like to have anything I could possible need right at my fingertips.
So, think of me next week. I will be relaxing (hopefully) and fighting off the flies!
