Aloha
Have I mentioned that my in-laws are going to Hawaii right after Christmas? If I haven't ...they are. In fact I am almost sick to death hearing about it. But truth be told I guess I am jealous. I have always wanted to go to Hawaii. I have heard it is beautiful. Maybe someday.
I did know a girl in college that flew her entire wedding party and family there for an authentic Maui wedding. I have heard that the Hawaiian wedding packages that they offer are outstanding. Maybe in another life? One can dream right?

I went to Maui in my teens, and I do have to say it is beautiful. I definately want to go back with a boyfriend or husband or something.
Surprisingly enough - a destination wedding can often be cheaper then a regular at home wedding! I work in the bridal business, and know a few brides who have discovered that while a local wedding means you either invite EVERYONE or people get upset - as soon you go destination, people understand not being invited! One bride told me that she realized that there was no way she could afford a local wedding that was as nice as she wanted without cheaping out on things she didn't want to give up - but a destination wedding with 20 guests ended up letting her have all the fancy stuff at 1/2 the cost that her big wedding would have been even after paying for flights and hotels for her guests!
Weird eh? Kind of makes me want to get married again! I think I could do without drunk Uncle Billy falling all over me on the dance floor, lol. Ah, the memories.....
